It is found in most supermarkets and does not have any flavour. However you can jazz up tofu, which is rich in dairy free protein, by dipping it in a glutinous rice flour batter and then coating it in sesame seeds and frying it until it has a crispy nutty coating. Then serve with a delicious soy dipping sauce or would be good with sweet chilli sauce too. This makes a great appetizer for entertaining. You can prepare all the tofu in advance and then fry just before serving.
