This is one of my go to desserts! Easy and a bit sexier than a plate of chopped assorted fruit. This recipe is exactly as it says in the title. Fuss free, tasty and fresh - you only have to worry about picking the sweetest and juiciest watermelon and berries, and the rest is easy. Perfect to finish off a meal.

Ingredients
  • Watermelon - ½, skin removed and cut into 2cm square cubes, chilled
  • Strawberries - 100g / 0.22 lb
  • Raspberries - 250g / 0.55 lb
  • Maple syrup - 2 tbsp
  • Lime zested and lime juiced - 1 lime
For the garnish
  • Mint leaves - small

Steps

  • Prepare the strawberry and raspberry puree by blending 100g of strawberries, 250gm of the raspberries, with the maple syrup, lime zest and juice. When smooth pass through a sieve and spoon into 4 small dipping dishes.
  • Divide the watermelon cubes between 4 plates, decorate with more raspberries or strawberries as you wish and serve with dipping sauce garnished with small mint leaves.
