Winter is definitely on the way, and as we make the transition into a new season I'm keen to update my wardrobe. What better way to get into the mood for cold weather than with a snuggly, stylish scarf? They're just the perfect accessory for blustery autumn days... Swash is a gorgeous East London-based label from Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamakano. Their silk scarves use hand-painted designs with a whimsical, Alice-in-Wonderland feel, resulting in truly stand-out pieces. I just love the hot air balloon design, one of nine distinct prints in the autumn "Regency fairytale" collection. For a subtler kind of elegance I'm a big fan of Athena Procopiou, a designer with Greek, Swiss and French background who trained right here in London. These pink ones are bang on trend, combining floral motifs with a darker gothic twist. If I'm in need of something a bit cosier, I can never resist channeling the apres-ski vibe. These chunky knits from Fred Perry on Asos work perfectly! Whatever your scarf this winter, wear it with style! x
