You just can’t go wrong with a scarf. They can keep you warm on a winters day, brighten up an otherwise plain outfit or bring your old wardrobe staples bang up to date. I had a chance to do a spot of shopping over the weekend and was amazed by the huge array of scarves available for Autumn/Winter. My particular favourites were the soft print scarves from Zara. The many different print designs are just so beautiful and because they are lovely and large you can wrap them over your coat to keep your snug when you are out and about. Personally, I think they also work perfectly as a shawl and I plan to thrown mine over my normal tops to make a change from a cardigan. If large and flowing isn’t your thing, the other trend this year seems to be the complete opposite, the Super Skinny scarf. Made popular by the likes of Kate Moss, these pretty accessories can transform an outfit and get it on trend with very little effort. This skinny silver sequin scarf from New Look can really add some sparkle to your Christmas outfit without costing the earth. The scarf is simply classic and timeless and makes a great gift for Christmas. Whether you splash the cash with a classic Hermes Silk scarf or pop along to Liberty’s to indulge in their rich print designs, there is something for everyone. I shall be adding a few to my Christmas list (hint, hint :)) Love, Ching x
