Get inspired to plant during National Allotment Week

2013-08-05 21:35:40|Inspiration

This week is National Allotment Week – there’s nothing better than cooking with food which has just been picked, especially if you grew it yourself.   Despite not having an actual allotment, I do plant some veggies in the borders and in pots and I seem to have great success with Asian herbs, which is surprising as I’m not home enough to water them properly!   I particularly like growing coriander, chinese chives and curry leaves.   For beginner growers and the more seasoned gardener, here you can find some great advice to keep your crops growing all year round. Happy planting!
