From Aussie barbies on the beach and South African Braais (African for grill) to American pits and English garden parties, the barbeque culture is synonymous around the world - for friends and family to relax and socialise with great food and drinks, either in the great outdoors or inside a BBQ restaurant. These are my top three BBQ hotspots: 1. Balloch Castle Country Park in Scotland Some of Scotland’s finest scenery can be enjoyed here, on the banks of Loch Lomond and there are designated picnic areas. 2. Franklin Barbecue in Austin, TX Recently hailed by Fox News as the number one BBQ hot spot in America, this place boasts an all-oak stove which burns through the night with no electricity, relying on the oak smoke, salt and pepper for seasoning. Rumour has it queues to eat here can last for hours, so it must be worth it! 3. Brighton Beach in England You can BBQ on the beach in Brighton after 6pm, voted one of the top ten city beach break destinations in the world, Brighton beachfront is legendary.
