As a chef, I am often testing recipes and trying new ingredients. I try to be responsible about the amount of food that I consume and make sure I use up leftovers. With so much waste ending up in landfill, incinerators or at the bottom of the sea, it is important that we are aware of the environmental impact and find ways to empower us all to reduce our waste. Zero Waste Week (5th-9th Sept) is an annual awareness campaign for reducing landfill.
