Really excited to be on the judging panel for oriental food retailer Wing Yip’s first Young Chef of the Year competition - in esteemed company too, alongside British Culinary Federation president, Peter Griffiths and Michelin-starred Birmingham chef and restaurateur Glyn Purnell. The competition is open to Midlands-based chefs, 18 to 25, who have a flair for cooking Oriental and pan-Asian cuisine. Entrants will be required to create an Oriental menu using ingredients of their choice - I can't wait for the big cook off in February! See more info and application forms on the Wing Yip website.
