Time for tea...

2016-08-30 17:10:29|Food

As a long time tea lover, I like to create new recipes that incorporate tea leaves or fruit and herbs - another great way to take on antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.  Many of the ingredients you probably already have in your store cupboard.     There are lots of ideas in Eat Clean:Wok Yourself to Health but one of my favourite is actually from Chinese Food Made Easy and is my Cinnamon, rambutan, honey and rose bud tea. You can buy the dried rose buds in Traditional Chinese Medicine shops, or order online from specialists. It is a sophisticated and lightly spiced tea that make a perfect accompaniment to sweet desserts, or you can drink it on its own.  Either as an iced tea on a warm day or a warm cup on a cold day, there is something for everyone, minus the caffeine! What's your cuppa?Love Ching x
