Heatwave!! When the sun is shining, my whole energy is lifted. I shall be making the most of this late summer weather and storing up all the extra strength that it gives me. I thought that I would recommend a light and refreshing dish, great for a warm day. My Smoked organic salmon, watercress, hijiki seaweed with a miso dressing is rich in protein and full of nutrients - all the better for heart health, joint mobility and general wellbeing. If you have some smoked salmon in the fridge, this is a great, lean recipe which will make a tasty change. I love smoked salmon, it has plenty of omega-3 fats and high in vitamin D.
