Hopefully you have already picked up my new Lotus Wok from JML Direct. If you are looking for a new dish to try out, how about my Five-a-Day Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry? You can vary the vegetable depending on what you have in the fridge. The full recipe is in my Modern China cookbook on page 21. The key to a good stir fry is not to overcook the vegetables by leaving in the wok for too long and you really don’t need a lot of oil. If you have a tougher vegetable, like broccoli, you could add a sprinkle of water to help with the cooking process.
