Ching cooked with star chefs Nic Watt (“Perfect Asian Feast)” and Paul Merrett (“Perfect Saturday night in”) in the Chef competition show Perfect where top chefs go head to head in three rounds to create their Perfect dishes. Ching also took part this month in the "The British Chinese Food Culture" Project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The heritage focus for the project is to track the changes of Chinese food in the UK and is carried out by the well respected Ming-Ai Institute. October saw the final stages of the Tsingtao Legacy of Taste competition. Ching will be watching the films that were made at the judging events before crowning the winning restaurant at the Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton hotel next month.
