British Tomato Week

2016-05-18 18:04:43|Food

They come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours and are rich in vitamin A, C and K, folate and potassium.  The tomato is the juicy jewel of many a dish and with their acidic tang they bring lots of flavour.  Keep them fresh by buying locally and store out of the fridge to keep their delicious flavour.  Eat Clean: Wok Yourself to Health, has plenty of recipes to choose from but one of my favourites is my Indian-style kachumber pickle with its Indian influences and layers of flavour.    Make every week a tomato week!   Love, Ching x
