It’s the start of asparagus season so there is no better time to tuck into my Healthful asparagus, bamboo, shittake stir-fry recipe. This is a veggie delight, full of great ingredients that are clean, tasty and nutritious. Asparagus crops are very reliant on the British climate, which we all know can be ‘changeable’! Generally we are told that season starts around mid-April and finishes around the end of June. It is full of fibre, folate and vitamins A and K.
